We love our designers and creatives because, well, without them, no shirts. We would be just an empty site, selling a bunch of nothingness into the void. But, like the creators they claim to be, they create and we exist. So, like a baby imprints on a mama, we are gaga over them. But they are more than just their phenomenal designs. We aren’t just using them for their hot pixel work! No, no. We love them for who they are.
But we aren’t entirely selfish people, so we are going to let you meet them here. We now present Marc Battaglia, straight-talking, bourbon loving, eagle scout creative wonder.
What do you like to do when you’re not designing T-shirts?
People who are really creative can rarely stop. If it’s not a t-shirt it’s a logo. Or a website. Or photography. Or cooking a four-course dinner. You can’t turn it off.
What are you wearing?
After 5pm I can usually be found at home, wearing a solid white or black apron, usually with a glass of wine or a cocktail while cooking dinner.
3 Best Things in the world. Go!
I’ll refrain from comment, considering this is an all-ages show.
What is your favorite design word?
Ancillary.
What is your favorite smell?
To me, nothing is more lovely than the smell of fresh ink, fresh paper, or fresh electronics.
What is the show you watched that you would rave to friends about?
It’s canceled, but I’m completely infatuated with Jonathan Ames’ comically noir “Bored to Death” on HBO.
There you have it! Therrrrrrrre’s Marc.
